Agriculture & Financial Education


The San Marcos Hen Farm will serve as a platform to offer Agriculture Workshops and Paid Fellowships to teach Financial Education, Life/Social Skills and Foundations of Entrepreneurship. Workshops will be offered through school partnerships and developed through partnerships with Mayan educators who speak the local languages and understand local culture.

Goal

To improve economic opportunities for youth by teaching social skills and financial education through agriculture .

Design

Workshops, courses and paid fellowships for students teaching financial education and entrepreneurship through agriculture, offered through the San Marcos Hen Farm and taught by local Mayan educators.
