Every month we do a pet sterilization clinic in one of the Villages at Lake Atitlan. Hundreds of dogs and cats have been spayed and neutered with our support. The local indigenous Mayan population lives on a few dollars a day and doesn’t have the capacity to pay for expensive Veterinary care. We’re here to provide this service at a significant discount so that families have access to Veterinary care in sterilizations for their pets. We also sterilized street dogs reducing the suffering of these innocent animals.
We have supported sterilization clinics since 2020 most of them have been in San Marcos La Laguna our home base however we have done a number of clinics and other Villages including Tzununa and San Juan la Laguna.
