Robyn Lipkowitz joined the San Marcos Foundation as COO in the summer of 2018 after a serendipitous introduction to Kate Lazarov and it was an opportunity she couldn’t pass up. Having spent a summer in Guatemala studying Spanish and volunteering and returning again for a vacation, the country and its people have maintained a special place in her heart. Professionally, Robyn has spent the last two decades working as a policy researcher and legislative advocate focusing on programs and policies alleviate poverty. Her lifelong passion has been to increase equity by eliminating barriers that create disparate outcomes for children and families. She hopes to bring this same passion to the San Marcos Foundation.
Robyn currently lives in Denver, CO with her three cats: Willow, Raya and Daisy. She spends her free time volunteering in her community, doing yoga and traveling. She’s visited more than eighteen countries and counting.
