Kate serves as President of the San Marcos Foundation from a place of immense gratitude. Her passion is creating sustainable solutions to systemic challenges, and for the last decade she has worked in a variety of nonprofits and activism roles for organizations focused on creating systems-level change. Most recently, she served as Managing Director for Callisto, a Google.org funded nonprofit, where she created and managed the first online sexual assault reporting and repeat perpetrator identification technology.
Kate met Daisy and Andy while visiting San Marcos la Laguna in 2017, and her love for the community has consistently grown through her work with the San Marcos Foundation. Kate is also a mindfulness coach, avid yogini, and strongly believes in “being the change” she wants to see in the world.
